Does Hide & Sheep have a retail store?
Currently we only sell our items through web based stores. We operate this online custom order shop and a ready made shop on Etsy. Our items are also available through a number of other online shops.
Can I buy with confidence?

We send out shipments every business day (Monday through Friday).
What makes Hide & Sheep markers different?
Many of the handmade stitch markers available use jump rings or split rings to form the needle ring portion of the marker. We do not. Our markers are entirely hand formed from spools of high quality silver or gold plated wire. All of our markers are designed to be 100% snag free. All wire ends are either contained inside the beads or tightly looped so there is never an exposed wire end.
What is the difference between the Needle Hugger and the Mini Needle Hugger Markers?
The biggest difference is the size of the beads used. We use 6mm beads on our full size Needle Hugger markers and 4mm beads on our Mini's. Below is a picture showing the two side-by-side. There is one additional difference: On the Mini Needle Huggers, we offset the bead slightly more than we do on our full size Needle Huggers. This places the bead on our Mini's slightly further out from your needle.

What marker ring size should I buy?
Please see our Sizing Information page for details. In general our markers fit closely to your needles. If you want extra room inside the needle rings for needle-to-needle transfer, we recommend purchasing markers 2 or 3 sizes larger than the largest needles you plan on using with the set (except when buying our Speed Loop Markers which are already designed for fast needle-to-needle transfers).
What style of markers would be best for me?
The style you select is mostly a matter of personal preference. All of our markers work well with all yarns and all types of needles, and can be used for any knitting project. The table at the bottom of this page is based on customer feedback and indicates the styles preferred by past buyers.
